Asiana Airlines is one of the largest airlines of South Korea, along with Korean Air. The company is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea’s capital. In fact, initially the airline was known as Seoul Air International or Seoul Airlines.
Asiana Airlines was founded in February 1988 and started to work at the end of the same year. Its first flights were sent to Busan, South Korea. The airline offers both passenger and load transport. Passengers can choose between First Suite class, First class, Business Smartium class, Business class and Travel class (also known as Economy class). The company offers more than 70 destinations and has a fleet of around 68 planes.
Current President and Chief Executive Officer of Asiana Airlines is Yoon Young-Doo. Its Vice Chairman is Park Chan-Bup.
