Srilankan Airlines is the flag carrier of Sri Lanka. The company is also known as Air Lanka. It is recognised around the world as a professional company, that offers its services with comfortability, security and punctuality.
The airline was founded in 1979. Since then it has been continuously expanding itself and diversifying its products and services. Its goal was to encourage the tourism in Sri Lanka.
Its airlines hubs are in Bandaranaike International Airport, in Colombo, and in Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, located in Hambantota. The airline operates flights to Asia and Europe. In total, passengers can choose between more than 60 destinations. Srilankan Airlines’ Chief Executive Officer is Kapila Chandrasena.
