T-Mobile is a phone operator established in Bonn, Germany. It belongs to the FreeMove alliance and it is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. In fact, the 'T' in its name represents 'Telekom'. The company was founded in 2002 as the branch dedicated to mobile operations of Deutsche Telekom. Deutsche Telekom was privatised in 1996, as, initially, telephone service was operated by the German government.
Currently, Telekom is present in eleven European countries and the United States, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The company has around 150 million subscribers. In fact, by its subscribers, it is the sixth largest mobile phone services company and the fourth largest multinational company.
