Virgin Media is a British telecommunications company. It provides broadband internet, television, landline and mobile telephone. These services are directed to both businesses and homes and, in total, Virgin Media serves more than 10 million consumers in the United Kingdom.
The enterprise was established in 2006, as a result of the merger of Telewest and NTL and, after that, a merger with Virgin Mobile UK. These movements created the first "quadruple-play" media company in the UK. Nowadays, Virgin Media counts with more than 14,000 employees
